Tuesday, December 29

Ornaments - Monkey with Noah

{50mm; 1/60s; f/1.4; ISO200; 12/25/09: I think the low depth of field of the 1.4 really makes for interesting ornament shots.}

Essence of Foam

{55mm; 1/1600s; f/14; ISO400; 3/16/08: I've decided to start re-visiting some of my old pictures (mostly because I can't keep up). It's actually kind of educational because I can see that I wasn't as deliberate with my pictures (more of a spray and pray style). I hope these keep you satiated while I find more material and time to shoot.

This picture is my first favorite that I took with my DSLR. It was at the beach in Davenport, north of Santa Cruz and it was a foamy ocean day.}

{12mm; 1/160s; f/11.0; ISO100; 12/5/09: Cliff House has a brunch that is to die for, including specially cut eggshells filled with butterscotch creamy delight. That and the endless champaign is enough to eat yourself sick, I tried.}
