{13mm; 1/100s; f/7.1; ISO100; 08/22/09: This was taken in the Mission on Liliac St off of 24th St. The whole alley had murals on the garage doors like this one.}
{50mm; 1/30s; f/2.8; ISO200; 08/27/09: Taken in the lab while my boss was cross-sectioning a part. It is that green thing inside the puck of epoxy. The spinning thing is a grinder, aka a wet wheel with sand paper.}
{11mm; 1/8s; f/10; ISO100; 08/23/09: This was taken on our way downtown to see Ponyo. I really like to blurred train background. I think I am going to try to get some more of these. The other thing that is nice is the light trickles down through the middle open section, and makes for nice diffuse beams.}
{11mm; 1/250s; f/7.1; ISO100; 08/15/09: Taken in Mill Valley after hiking in Tenessee Valley for the day. We got some great Mexican food just around the corner.}
{11mm; 1/125s; f/7.1; ISO100; 08/22/09: Deep in the Mission there is a very small alleyway called Lilac, and they have an art group that does amazing murals. You will be seeing more of them in the coming days/weeks. If anyone is in the city and wants to walk this cool alley, it's right next to the 24th and Mission McDonalds.}
{11mm; 1/400s; f/9.0; ISO100; 08/20/09: I was waiting for Liz to come down to the East Bay after work on Thursday, and I thought I would take a picture of the BART for Al. He mentioned that he misses the public transport systems of New York, and liked seeing the Muni train the other day. BART is a very nice system, I just wish the people on the peninsula and in Marin would get over themselves and extend the system.}
{50mm; 1/200s; f/2.2; ISO100; 8/9/09: Taken at the Alemany Farmer's Market in San Francisco. I love taking pictures of the foods at the market. They are so colorful.}
{50mm; 1/60s; f/2.8; ISO200; 08/09/09: This was taken a few weekends ago at the MOMA. They had this weird/interesting ongoing exhibit which had different sculptures representing the body in different ways. This wall of hexes had a very skin/intestine/wrinkles feel to it and made very nice shadows with the light. There was also a huge room sized transparent multi-chamber representation of breathing.}
{12mm; 1/320s; f/7.1; ISO100; 08/16/09: This was shot from the hip and taken on the way to the Ferry Building. I will get the alignment down someday...}
{11mm; 1/1000s; f/7.1; ISO100; 08/16/09: This was taken from the Ferry Building in San Francisco while on the way to go kayaking with the Harringtons, Anne, Liz, and Tom.}
{13mm; 1/60s; f/9.0; ISO100; 08/15/09: Taken on our hike in Tennessee Valley this weekend. I was using a polarizer and gradient color filter that Dave let me borrow. I've been thinking about getting the same setup.}
{11mm; 1/400s; f/9.0; ISO100; 08/14/09: I took this on my way home from work this Friday. The commute sucked, 1.5hrs to get home...but at least I took the time to stop and take a couple of pictures.}
{11mm; 1/80s; f/2.8; ISO200; 08/10/09: Upon return to the lab for my water bottle, I saw the nitrogen tanks being refilled on the shipping dock. After the guy was done, he had to vent the nitrogen gas that builds up in the truck's tank.}
{11mm; 1/250s; f/11.0; ISO100; 08/10/09: This is as wide as she goes. I like the diagonal lines, but I wish that I had taken two steps to the left so that I could use the light to blot out the sun. Ahh, you can't win 'em all!}
{16mm; 1/250s; f/3.2; ISO100; 08/10/09: This was taken from the Richland Bridge looking down upon San Jose Ave which is split by the Muni (I think J line, but Bri will prob. correct me). This was more from my first session with the wide-angle.}
{50mm; 1/125s; f/1.8; ISO100; 08/09/09: Taken on the steps of the MOMA of my sexy lady Liz. She was wearing a very cute dress and has been getting honked at lately on the streets.}
{16mm; 1/50s; f/14.0; ISO100; 08/10/09: To christen my new camera I went out for a walk around my house during the last hour or so of sunlight. This is the bridge that is just outside of my house. This camera has such an amazingly wide angle of view, that I have to rethink how I frame things now.}
{50mm; 1/160s; f/3.2; ISO100; 07/25/09: I really like how the spines go from ultra sharp to fuzz in this picture. I've been feeling rather uninspired with my photography lately, but I am getting a new wide angle lens (11-16mm f/2.7 even lower ISO night shots!) this weekend or early next week, so I'm sure you will be seeing something new and interesting soon.}
{50mm; 1/800s; f/3.5; ISO100; 07/25/09: This was taken in Jeff and Sara's backyard porch area. They have all of these beautiful succulents, I had to take a few pictures.}
{50mm; 1/1600s; f/2.5; ISO100; 07/26/09: Sorry about missing a day, I've been trying to lay low after getting my wisdom teeth removed. This is another picture from the old car out front of Cameron's pub.}
