After a couple of days in Rochester with Mom, Al, and Shani- Liz, Mom, and I went to New York for New Year's Eve, which some of you probably know as My Birthday. One of my favorite things about NYC is the subway. OMG- San Francisco sucks so bad wrt public transportation. I actually thought it was ok, now I know it is really really very sad and pathetic.

Actually, in the city of San Francisco, public transportation is okay. You can get anywhere you need to go (even the beach!) in the city. Now the Bay Area has made many attempts to link up their different branches of public transportation, but it is just not working.
I think this is a case of NIMBY (not in my back yard), poor planning, not enough $$$ and a huge metropolitan area to cover.
